Local leaders Walk the Walk on August 28, 2026, in support of Lulu’s Lodge

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Walk the Walk, Regina’s Celebrity Drag Fundraiser, is coming back on August 28, 2026 at Casino Regina!
Local business and community leaders, public figures and others will take to the stage in support of Lulu’s Lodge, JHSS’ transitional home in Regina for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth.
“What many people don’t realize is that organizations like Lulu’s Lodge rely heavily on community support, fundraising, and donations to continue delivering these life-changing services,” said past Walk the Walk winner, and lead organizer for this year’s event, Jada Yee (Chyna B. Deadly). “The need continues to grow, and every dollar raised helps ensure that vulnerable youth have access to safety, support, and hope.”
Walk the Walk features local celebrities and leaders who step out of their comfort zones into the world of drag, all in support of Lulu’s Lodge, a five-bedroom supportive transitional home for 2SLGBTQIA+ youth (ages 16 to 21) who face homelessness.
“For nearly a decade, Lulu’s Lodge has offered a safe haven for youth to access the care they need, build healthy relationships and become the people they want to become,” said JHSS CEO Shawn Fraser. “The home has been made possible by the help so many community-minded people and we are really grateful for Lulu’s Lodge to be the benefactor of this year’s event.”
Tickets for Walk the Walk are now available by buying tickets and sponsorship packages at sk.johnhoward.ca/walk-the-walk.
