HOMEBASE
HOMEBASE is a program created by youth, for youth, operating under the Integrated Youth Services (IYS) model of care. Homebase has been branded and purpose-built to fit the requirements and needs of youth in our province and aims to reduce existing barriers youth have accessing support. Services available to youth include access to mental health support, primary health services, cultural connection and social supports. HOMEBASE supports youth (12-25) in reaching their full potential by integrating and co-locating a range of youth-targeted services and supports, using a stepped-care approach.
The primary goal of HOMEBASE is to have communities quickly connect youth with the right services, in the right place and at the right time with heavy emphasis on a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach and a focus on early interventions.
