Poplar Place provides a supported living environment for at-risk male, female and non-binary youth (16-21) in the care of the Ministry of Social Services (MSS). All program placements are referred through the MSS. Youth receive day-to-day support from a staff member guiding them in their transition to independence outside of care. This includes supporting the youth as they navigate the education system, developing employment skills, assistance in securing meaningful employment, evolving their life skills, such as decision-making, budgeting, cooking, relationships and personal development.
